In honor of World AIDS Day 2012, GatorWell Health Promotion Services, Eta Sigma Gamma and the College of Health and Human Performance are teaming up to offer FREE confidential HIV testing to UF students.

Schedule your appointment online at gatorwell.genbook.com. The scheduling process is quick and secure. The tests are FREE, by appointment only and will take place Thursday, November 29, from 5:30–9:30 p.m. in the Florida Gym. The appointments are set on a first come, first serve basis, until all the slots are filled.
Frequently asked questions
What will I need to do on the day of testing?
Please arrive at Room 250 of the Florida Gym 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment and bring your student ID. Event staff will be available to assist you with checking in and will direct you to the appropriate room.
What does the test involve?
The test being used is an oral swab that is designed to detect the presence of anti-bodies for HIV in a person’s system. There are no needles and your blood will not be drawn.
How will I receive my results?
You will be given instructions at the end of the testing session that will direct you to make an appointment to get your results at the GatorWell main office.
When will the results be available?
As early as two weeks after your pre-test.
How do I change or cancel my appointment?
You can quickly cancel or change your appointment online by using the link included at the bottom of the appointment confirmation email you received from our scheduling system, Genbook. Look for “Manage my appointment.” Please call GatorWell at (352) 273-4450 if you need any additional assistance.
What if I am unable to attend the testing event on December 1?
GatorWell regularly offers free HIV testing by appointment at the main office in the Counseling and Wellness Center Building. Please see GatorWell’s HIV Testing Services for information on this service.
