Billing delay: Back charges posting Dec. 3-7

Between Dec. 3 and Dec. 7, back charges for services received at the UF Student Health Care Center (SHCC) may post to your UF account, accessible at www.my.ufl.edu. These charges may be for services from previous semesters.

The health fee, a mandatory fee you pay as part of your tuition, covers the costs associated with most SHCC office visits (for example, when a medical provider evaluates a sick patient but does not order any tests/procedures/prescriptions) but does not cover all possible charges. Patients are financially responsible for items not covered by the health fee; these include, but are not limited to: health insurance; hospital visits; external community providers/facilities; physicals; procedures; X-rays; lab tests; medical equipment; prescriptions; non-prescription medications; vaccinations; massage; and physical therapy. The health fee is not considered health insurance.
