Employee Health Services

Not just for students, the Student Health Care Center also offers a wide variety of services for UF employees.

The EAP at the SHCC main campus facility (Infirmary Building) offers confidential counseling and consultation services, including after-hours consultation, at no cost. The EAP also runs the smoking cessation program to help employees end their tobacco use.

Flu shots are available every year for a minimal fee. Employees can also receive regular immunizations, as well as travel counseling/vaccinations, for various fees. Services are provided at SHCC@Shands.

Have lab work initiated at the SHCC for a $15 fee, saving you from finding the time to get tests done off campus! Tests are sent to the laboratory required by your insurance and results automatically communicated to the provider who ordered the test.

Available in 15-minute increments for a fee of $1 per minute at SHCC@CorryVillage.

Available 24 hours a day for members of the UF community who experience a needlestick or biological exposure.

Get your prescriptions filled on campus while you work! The SHCC Pharmacy at the Infirmary Building also carries a selection of low-cost health/wellness/beauty items. (The SHCC Pharmacy currently accepts university-sponsored prescription plans and the following commercial prescription plans: Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield of Florida, CVS/Caremark, Medco and Prescription Solutions; other commercial plans may also be accepted — contact us with questions or for more information: (352) 392-1760.)
