Ronald Berry, M.D.
Dr. Berry is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UF College of Medicine, Department of Community Health and Family Medicine. He received his BS in Chemistry from the University of Florida in 1979 and his MD from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 1982. Dr. Berry completed his residency in Family Practice in Pensacola, Florida in 1985. He is board certified in Family Practice. He has been a member of the SHCC medical staff since 1989.
Ann Grooms, M.D.

Dr. Grooms is a UF Team Physician and Clinical Assistant Professor within the UF college of Medicine Department of Community Health and Family Medicine. Dr. Grooms earned her BS at the University of Tennessee Knoxville and MD at University of Tennessee-Memphis. She completed a residency in pediatrics as well as a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Grooms serves as team physician for many of the UF female athletic teams. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a charter member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

Sheryl Heinicka, ARNP

An R.N. since 1986, Mrs. Heinicka received her ASN in Nursing from Piedmont Virginia Community College and a Bachelor of Science from the Medical College of Virginia - Virginia Commonwealth University. After ten years of nursing in the emergency room, community health, and home health areas, she received a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 1996 from the University of Virginia. Her degree specialty was in the dual Home Health Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner program. She has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1996, and has been with SHCC since 2001. She also serves as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students from the University of Florida School of Nursing. She is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
