The mission of the University of Florida Student Health Care Center (SHCC) is to help every student achieve optimal health in the pursuit of personal and academic success.

The SHCC is an accredited outpatient clinic staffed by licensed, board-certified medical professionals who provide health and wellness care to UF students. Our medical staff is comprised of physicians (MDs), physician assistants (PAs), advanced registered nurse practitioners (ARNPs), registered nurses (RNs) and health support technicians (HSTs).

As the primary provider of mental health services for students, the Division of Student Affairs-operated UF Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) offers individual therapy, groups, couples counseling, consultation, crisis services, outreach, biofeedback and more to help students be maximally effective in their academic pursuits.
