General Medical Care

The Student Health Care Center provides a wide variety of general health and wellness services to help keep students at their best, and our providers strive to help students understand common ailments while also providing treatment options.

After they begin attending classes, a student is automatically assigned to one of our six medical teams. The first time the student visits or calls for an appointment, he or she learns about this automatic team assignment; from then on, the student may call their team directly to schedule appointments.

Operating much like a small doctor’s office, this system enables our patients to return to the same group of providers for continuity of care, though switching to another team is always an option. Familiar faces are a bonus of this system!
