If you are currently under the care of an allergist and receiving allergy immunotherapy, a registered nurse can administer your allergy shots in the Student Health Care Center Allergy Clinic.

How to Continue Allergy Injections at SHCC

Before coming to Gainesville and starting your education at UF, please present our detailed document, Allergy Injection Clinic Welcome Document, to your current allergist. Your allergist’s staff will prepare your allergy documents and vial(s) for the mail OR they may give them directly to you. Our Allergy Injection Clinic must have these documents to proceed.

After our allergy nurse receives your documents and vial(s), you will be directed to schedule an ALLERGY CONSULT with an SHCC provider. This brief visit will enable our staff to get to know you better for your continued care.

Please noteā€”upon receipt of documents and vial(s) received by mail, the SHCC allergy nurse will contact you at the phone number provided by your allergist.

We look forward to meeting you!

NOTE: A fee applies for allergy injections; please verify coverage with your insurance company. For additional information, visit our Fees and Insurance area.
