Medical and other conditions can sometimes benefit greatly from massage therapy. Fees for wellness services are automatically sent to the patient’s UF account; no money is exchanged during the time of service. For medical massage fees, review your individual insurance benefits to determine any applicable charges/fees before calling for your appointment.

  • Medical massage therapy requires a medical provider’s referral for insurance payment/reimbursement. Review your individual insurance benefits to determine any applicable charges/fees before calling for your appointment.
  • Wellness massage and spa treatments are not typically covered under any type insurance policy, but need no referral. Students, faculty and staff can call to make an appointment after making a selection from our wellness massage menu.
  • Ergonomic education and stress reduction techniques are a part of any medical massage therapy treatments and are occasionally incorporated into some of our wellness treatments.

How to make an appointment

Please note that 24-hour cancellation notification is requested. Call (352) 392-1433 and leave a message 24/7.

  • NOTE: A $5 fee may charged to the UF accounts of no-show patients.
  1. If you are requesting a wellness service, view and select a service package from the wellness massage menu; otherwise, go to step 2.
  2. Call the appointment line at (352) 392-1433 and leave a detailed message including:
    • Name, phone number, UF ID and if requesting a medical or wellness appointment
    • Two choices of preferred appointment dates and times; appointments available between 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday
    • IF REQUESTING A WELLNESS SERVICE: Name of the wellness service and length of time
