About Taylor J Bellfield

Taylor Bellfield is a triple Gator with a strong foundation in psychiatric clinical care, a research focus on ADHD in adulthood, and a passion for supporting the health and well-being of emerging adults. After graduating from the UF College of Nursing’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, he pursued post-graduate residency training with the Boston VA and Harvard South Shore Psychiatry, where he trained alongside medical residents in various subspecialties, including neurology, psychiatric emergency, and dual diagnosis. Since then, he has provided care in inpatient and outpatient settings, serving adolescents, adults, older adults, Veterans, and perinatal clients. Taylor has experience with medication management, group and individual psychotherapy, nutrition and exercise counseling, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with specific experience in on-call psychiatric coverage for an adult inpatient unit and crisis intervention as a crisis counselor. Taylor is currently a Ph.D. Candidate at Boston College and recently received grant funding from the American Psychiatric Nurses Association in support of his dissertation research which focuses on exploring multilevel determinants of health and well-being in adults with ADHD.
