Dewayne DuBose
Dewayne graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences from the College of Health and Human Performance. In the spring of 2005, Dewayne earned a National Athletic Training Certification and earned a State of Florida Board of Athletic Training License in the summer of 2004. Dewayne earned a Graduate Assistantship, and he graduated in the spring of 2009 with a Master of Science in applied physiology and kinesiology from the College of Human Health and Performance. He received a Graduate School Fellowship as a research assistant, and he was also the recipient of the Charlotte Liberty Scholarship. Dewayne graduated with his Ph.D. in Rehabilitative Sciences in May 2015. He currently serves as research coordinator for the AWARE study (serum biomarker-advanced imaging-head impact quantification) and works on many of the current research efforts of the Sports Concussion Center. He also provides services as a national certified phlebotomy technician (NCPT).

 

Aliyah Snyder, MS
Aliyah SnyderAliyah Snyder is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology where she specializes in neuropsychology. Her clinical research interests are based on a translational science approach and include examining the role of experience-dependent neuroplasticity after concussion and implementing aerobic exercise as a means of boosting neurorehabilitation post-injury. Aliyah previously attended Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida where she earned a bachelor of science degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. She earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Florida. During her graduate studies at UF, she served as the head research coordinator for the Health IMPACTS for Florida’s Concussion Surveillance and Monitoring Program.
